Your day at NTT DATA

The Sr Network Service Architect is responsible for the development of competitive, innovative, complex, multi-year, viable Managed Network solutions and associated business cases. Sr Service Architects for Network Services are expected to spend 40-70% of their time in face-to-face discussions with NTT Data clients. They are responsible for the business and technical solution assembly of strategic Managed Services to large global clients. They will lead client discussions on current state discovery and analysis, solution architecture to orchestrate the development of complex, multiple year, managed network services solutions and associated cost cases. The expected outcome will be to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and/or solutions which meet client business and technical requirements and fulfill NTT Data’s obligations. The leadership provides the foundation of the NTT Data solution that influences our sales teams, commercials, legal and delivery strategies for the engagement. Sr Service Architects for Network Services own the definition of the services solutions, which are accountable for the overall solution design of the engagement.

  Job Description Summary

  We are seeking a Sr Network Services architect with extensive experience in the following areas:

  · SD-WAN & SASE experience including HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler technologies.

  · Expert with in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN/Security design and support for data networks

  · Extensive presales experience where you have architected network solutions across the services lifecycle (Professional, Support, Cloud and Managed Services).

  · Certs for network & security solutions (HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Zscaler and others.

  · Demonstrated experience working with the C level/Senior leadership at large enterprises.

  Responsibilities

  · Provide subject matter expertise related to network services best practices

  · Engage in sales opportunities and collaborate with the Sales team throughout the full sales cycle

  · Collaborate with and advise members of sales teams on solution features, architectural issues, implementation considerations, managed service models, cost elements and effort estimates.

  · Architect network solutions across the services lifecycle (Professional, Support, Cloud and Managed Services)

  · Conduct design workshops and perform discoveries to identify business outcomes and develop network solutions in a presale role

  · Presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

  · Delivering customer-focused solutions based on customer needs with minimal guidance, and exercise sound judgement and decision making in high-pressure situations across multi-platform/system/vendor environments.

  · Explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the network technology teams

  · Provides technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process, and identifies additional sales opportunities with existing customers.

  · Prepare formal management presentations, along with organizing and conducting effective meetings

  · Analyze and evaluate client requirements against NTT Data portfolio offerings and architecting those requirements into a competitive solution.

  Qualifications

  · 5-10 years’ experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or as a technical sales consultant

  · Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix management structure

  · Working knowledge of web services, telecommunications products and services including IP Telephony and SIP, SaaS, SD-WAN, SASE, and networking technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP and SFTP. Working knowledge of cloud connectivity infrastructure is desirable.
