GC Subrogation Associate-1

Our General Claims (Subrogation) department is currently interviewing for part time associates to assist in verifying claims as well as communicating with our policyholders. Formal in-house training is provided. Come, see what all the excitement is about!

The hours for the position will flex Monday through Friday and may be scheduled around a student's academic obligations in an associate's, bachelor's, or master's program. This is an on site position. The hours for the position are 10 to 20 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the insurance industry while working toward completing your college education!

• Assist with Subrogation claims and create/compile and send Subrogation Demands for prompt resolution.

• Assist to verify coverage on claims and contact parties involved.

• Initiate communication to adverse carriers to assist in response to Subrogation demands that were sent.

• Enter information and make notes in ClaimCenter Database.

• Assist Subrogation Representatives with recovery check processes. Contact policyholders for additional information when needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Working knowledge of computers including accurate keyboarding skills

• Superior listening skills

• Strong multi-tasking ability

• Previous customer service experience is required.

• Working toward an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree
