Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.

• Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies

• Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities

• Develop positive professional relationships across departments

• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager

• Complete an end-of-internship presentation to showcase the completion of learning objectives

• Work in the Data Analytics function within Enterprise Data & Innovation team to assist in reporting and insights innovation by leveraging statistics and data science capabilities and results for analytics modernization

• Assist in analytics solution automation, streamlining and standardization

• Utilize GCP BigQuery, Python, SQL, Looker, Tableau, and other tools to complete projects

• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, Business Intelligence and IS functional teams, business analytics teams from other departments such as procurement, warehouse operations, HR, Finance etc.

• Full-time, 12+ week internship from May to August 

• Location: Edison, NJ Office with a hybrid schedule

We’re searching for interns that are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university 

• In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better

• Sophmore, Junior or Senior standing at the time of the internship

• Currently majoring in Statistics, data analytics, or Data Science 

• Proficient with Google’s suite of products preferred 

• Proficient with Excel required

• Proficient with SQL and Python required

• Strong communicator, both written and verbal

• Able to think outside of the box and solve problems

• Able to work both with a team and be independently successfully

• Able to stay organized and pay close attention to detail
