About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Logistics Visibility & Reporting supports our Global Supply Chain operations teams, including direct partnership with Global Transportation & Trade Compliance, in designing, developing and maintaining advanced decision support tools, application visibility and service reporting. This position works daily with our operational teams, including senior leaders, in defining the applications and visibility tools required to deliver supply chain service across the network at or above expected service levels to enable our iconic brands. This individual will be directly responsible to manage and maintain complex data sets across various nodes of the supply chain operation, working with our team of experts in developing critical business support tools and provide real time visibility to product placement, network performance/KPIs, and key trends. As a member of the Logistics Visibility & Reporting team, you will become an expert in the Transportation operational and systematic processes that support the movement of Gap Inc. product around the world, from our sourcing and manufacturing partners throughout the globe, Inbound and Outbound Transportation, and ultimately into the hands of our customers.What You'll Do
- Develop Decision Support Tools: Design, develop and maintain advanced decision support tools in PowerBI to provide actionable insights across the global supply chain organization
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and insights relevant to the global supply chain operations teams
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity and ensure data quality by establishing and implementing data integrity and validation techniques to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work and influence across broad cross functional teams, including but not limited to logistics, Gap Tech, Product Management, Inventory Management and Procurement. Work as direct point of contact to ensure reporting tools meet the needs of the business
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use reporting tools effectively. Contribute to the development of user guides and documentation to assist users in understanding, utilizing and maximizing the capability of tools
- Functional Expertise: Support ad hoc Global Transportation reporting needs with a high sense of urgency to manage operational disruption and deleverage network risk
Who You Are
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard/report creation. Familiarity with supply chain (logistics/transportation) processes and terminology.
- Experience with PowerBI or other similar BI tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate reporting and decision support tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the business.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar analytical role, preferably within the retail or supply chain industry
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
