About the role

We are seeking a Technician/Laborer to support our ASNT (American Society of Non-Destructing Testing) Technicians during inspections in non-hazardous environment to gain experience required to attain their ASNT I Certification. Must be able to Travel domestically 90% Monday – Friday typically except during turn arounds.

  • Perform nondestructive examinations on equipment at intervals in accordance with appropriate procedures.
  • Be familiar with and Level II certified in a NDE method in accordance with the SNT-TC-1A
  • Must possess the ability to maintain inspections according to scheduled intervals.
  • Must be proficient with standard computer software such as MS Word and Excel and be able to write detailed inspection reports.
  • Must be capable of climbing, working at high elevations and working in confined spaces.
  • Completes requested documentation for client or company.
  • Learns and abides by Company policies and procedures.
  • Completes classroom training, job training, and testing required by company.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company.
  • Must be able to mentor ASNT Level I Technicians
  • Ability to identify indication and report accurately.

What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?

  • High School or equivalent required
  • Industrial experience preferred
  • 6 months - 3 years’ experience heavy laboring experience
  • Valid and clear driver's license required
  • Must be able to travel 90% primarily by air 
  • Must be comfortable to work in confined spaces, heights and lift up to 50lbs
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Possesses good written/verbal communication skills
  • Work well in a team
