POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to assist the medical
office in duties that support patient care and related tasks and procedures as
directed by clinicians and nurses, policies, execution of point-of-care
laboratory testing and all related Quality Control requirements and instrument
sterilization; and to assist with duties such as telephone operations,
front-reception window, and check-out; as well as immunization verification
procedures. The staff at Health Services are required to have the TEAMS app
downloaded and accessible on their mobile phone and laptop.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Direct Patient Care including
Triage/Vitals/Rooming/POC testing/Injections/Phlebotomy/Immunizations/IV insertion.
Responsible for front office duties including Incoming/Outgoing phone calls.
Responsible for contacting patients regarding lab results/follow-up/referrals
etc.
Assists with immunization compliance management and clinical (PCHR/Flu, etc.) outreach.
Assists with medication inventory and ordering.
Assists with therapeutic and allergy injections as needed.
Assists with the Eating Disorder team as needed.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
3-5 years of work
experience.
Current PA RN
licensure in good standing.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational
institution.
Alternatively, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination
of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities
required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not
limited to, the following:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
required.
Willingness to work effectively with others, often times adapting and
multi-tasking to complete needed duties.
Willingness to problem solve as needed and utilize professional knowledge to
solve clinical or administrative issues.
Able to work varying shifts throughout week between 7:30a-6p.
Commitment
