<p><strong>Deadline Date: </strong>Monday 31 July 2023</p> <p><strong>Requirement: </strong>Principal Technician (Interoperability)</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>The Hague, NL</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Full time on-site</strong>: Yes</p> <p><strong>Time On-Site: </strong>100% <a rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"> </a></p> <p><strong>NATO Grade:</strong> A/70</p> <p><strong>Total Scope of the request</strong> (hours): 600</p> <p><strong>Required Start Date:</strong> 18 September 2023 </p> <p><strong>End Contract Date:</strong> 31 December 2023</p> <p><strong>Required Security Clearance:</strong> NATO SECRET</p> <p><strong>Duties and Role: </strong></p> <p>We are looking for a person with a willingness to learn, able to perform different type of tasks, and someone that excels on analytical and problem solving skills.</p> <p>This person will be working within a highly motivated and cross-functional team, touching upon a different numbers of activities around manual and automated software testing of test management tools for interoperability and verification and validation within a multinational environment.</p> <p>The person for the post will work in the Interoperability Solutions team of the Interoperability Branch in the Chief Quality Office.</p> <p>Interoperability V&V is part of non-functional requirements validation and, like security V&V, has a significant importance in the NATO environment. Interoperability between NATO and/or national capabilities likely to operate in a NATO or coalition mission environment are verified and validated before deployment.</p> <p>This person in this post will support the manual and automated testing of the Interoperability Toolset during the software development lifecycle. The testing will be a mix of manual testing, supplemented with the development of automated test scripts to support regression testing.</p> <p>The person will be working as part of the solutions development team of approximately 10 persons and will work closely together with the developers, testers and product owners.</p> <p>Task bullet point form:</p> <ul> <li>Test implemented product functionality</li> <li>Perform regression testing</li> <li>Report on any findings</li> <li>Write and maintain automated testing framework and tests</li> <li>Be a liaison between Product Owners and the development team</li> <li>Support the implementation and maintenance of pipelines in Azure DevOps</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Skill, Knowledge & Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of overall quality assurance experience</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience with testing web based applications</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience with testing REST API endpoints</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience with writing automated tests for web based systems and API's</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience with Azure DevOps</li> <li>Experience with working in multi-person software development teams;</li> <li>Meticulous, detail oriented</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Able to read and understand Java or C# code and familiar with basic OOP concepts</li> <li>Basic experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and using SQL</li> <li>Experience in using automated testing frameworks (ex: XUnit, Specflow, BDD)</li> </ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with performance testing using JMeter</li> <li>Experience with testing GraphQL based endpoints</li> <li>Experience with the use of test management solutions such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Zephyr, or other systems</li> </ul>
