At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role in Maintenance Group Leader pay ranges $42.39. (Shift – Varies)

 

Summary Description: Group Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing the crew performing trouble shooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. Responsible for operation preventative maintenance, rebuild, repair/troubleshooting and PM plan revision of all plant utility equipment, including calibration of instruments.  The utility systems include ammonia refrigeration, glycol, steam generation and point-of-use, water systems, air compressors and power distribution.

 

Job Description

• Responsible for the installation of new or used equipment.
• Responsible for repairs of the building and all plant equipment.
• Responsible for assisting in shift coverage when applicable.
• Responsible for welding repairs to plant equipment.
• Operate all plant utility systems listed above and support all production processes as required.
• Rebuild/overhaul equipment to Leprino specs and standards.
• Plan and execute preventative and predictive maintenance actions on utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair all utilities equipment.
• Utilize alignment tools for the execution of PM’s and installations.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
• HAZMAT Incident commander and responder
• Provide training to the Emergency Response team
• At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures.
• Work with vendors and engineers on improvement, optimization, and expansion projects
• Promptly respond to equipment failures or downtime.
• Responsible for assisting in shift coverage when applicable.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
• Work in a team-based environment with shared responsibility across shifts for the upkeep and operation of the plant utility systems.<
