Food and Beverage Shift Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of successful experience with FOH sales and cost responsibility in comparable operation
• Demonstrate competence in teambuilding, quality operations, problem solving, and administration
• Ability to use point-of-sale and reservation software and equipment along with Microsoft Office software
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining daily standards

 

License Requirements:

• DBR-RI
• Alcohol awareness server training

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensures daily compliance with all government and regulatory requirements as well as all Tiverton Casino Hotel policies and procedures
• Responsible for all aspects of daily FOH operations
• Presents a positive image of the restaurant at all times. Interacts with vendors and the public so as to increase the appreciation of the restaurant and the brand in the marketplace

 

 

Physical/Mental Requirements:

• Work a minimum of 40+ hours per week.
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.

Working Conditions:

• Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment
• May be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors.
