We're seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Manager, Marketing Events to join our growing team. If you love bringing ideas to life, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to own projects from start to finish, then we’d love to chat with you!

The Lowdown

As the Senior Manager, Event Marketing you will assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans that increase pipeline and lead generation. We're looking for someone with event marketing and project management experience who can coordinate lots of moving parts with various stakeholders who need to be kept in the loop. You will work directly with 1-3 stakeholders and report to the Monk's director.

Who we are looking for

  • You will manage the entire event lifecycle for a range of events, from smaller gatherings to larger summits, with the support of our experienced team.
  • Project manage, execute, and provide on-site support for third-party industry and owned events.
  • Manage logistics, budgets, planning timelines, and stakeholder communication for each event.
  • Collaborate and project manage with multiple cross functional persona such as vendors, partners, internal and external marketing/sales/event teams.
  • Develop and lead creative briefs for experiential outputs to ensure a unique yet cohesive experience and brand presence across all events.
  • Develop promotional strategies for all third-party and owned events to maximize event KPIs and drive attendance, registration, and engagement.
  • Align event marketing plans with the broader teams, and plan and optimize for qualified business meetings at events.
  • Cultivate relationships with partners and event organizers for speaking, sponsorship, and promotional opportunities.
  • You keep a close eye on budgets, ensuring they stay on track and consistently report in with status updates. Experience managing budgets of 1M+ preferred.
  • You are an on-the-ground champion, ensuring seamless event flow and tackling unexpected hiccups with a can-do attitude.
  • Located in or around the Bay Area, San Francisco (CA). Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time for exciting events across the US. 

Your Toolkit

  • 4-6 years of event management experience, showcasing your passion and ability to bring ideas to life. You’ve got the skills and the drive to make things happen.
  • A love for events and a knack for creating memorable experiences. You're not just planning events; you're crafting moments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You’re a master of timelines, checklists, and keeping things on track.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You can easily connect with clients, vendors, and colleagues alike.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. You’re a team player who’s ready for anything.
  • Willingness to learn internal Google processes, including Workspace, dashboards, Salesforce, and other relevant tools. Prior experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage event/program calendars, timelines, and budgets of 1M+.
  • Experience analyzing event performance metrics and providing recommendations for future improvements and optimizations.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and incorporating them into event marketing strategies.
