Location: United States (Remote)

 

As a Senior Business Communications Specialist, You Will:

• Play a lead role in the editorial planning and project management for one or more internal communications channels
• Develop and propose story and messaging concepts
• Write and edit content for various internal users, including but not limited to, newsletters, announcements, profiles and articles
• Consult with team members and outside sources as necessary to ensure accuracy
• Plan, develop and support internal communications strategies to achieve specific, measurable goals, ensuring organizational needs are met and aligned with system priorities
• Create and manage measurement of internal communications initiatives; optimizes communications accordingly
• Increase visibility and positive engagement with the client's customers and strategic business partners
• Write content that is clear, easy to understand and written in natural language for technical and non-technical audiences

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Organizational Development, Business or similar field, or equivalent work experience with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in organizational communications principles and practices
• Five (5) years of experience with content creation and editing in a technical environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, to reach diverse stakeholders, with strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills
• ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
• Solid understanding and experience working in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as SharePoint and Drupal
• This effort supports a federal contract in which proof of US Citizenship and of Covid-19 Vaccination Status must be confirmed prior to starting in this role.
