About the role
The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
The Integration Assistant role at The Boring Company encompasses a dynamic array of tasks pivotal to seamlessly merging electrical components and parts into the production pipeline. You thrive in hands-on settings, readily transitioning between office environments, factory floors, and laboratories to fulfill our mission of revolutionizing underground transportation. Responsibilities
- Administering Electrical Integration tasks, including overseeing kitting of parts and ensuring seamless integration of received items into inventory.
- Printing work instructions, travelers, and test sheets to facilitate smooth workflow and production processes.
- Organizing tool bag suits for assembly teams to ensure they have the necessary tools readily available.
- Conducting daily cleanliness audits to maintain a tidy and efficient work environment.
- Restocking lineside consumables to prevent disruptions in production activities.
- Auditing parts bins regularly and placing orders for replenishment as needed to maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Generating labels for subassemblies included in kits to ensure accurate identification and tracking.
- Proactively tracking down and ordering any missing parts required to complete incomplete kits, minimizing downtime and optimizing assembly timelines.
