About the role

The Retail Partnerships (Trade) team supports the transformation of Tiffany & Co by leading the “Retailization” of the external boutiques, elevating the experience, making it as unified as possible with any other Tiffany & Co. boutique and delivering moments of joy to our clients. The VIE Global Trade supports the team with monthly sales budgets achievement, product assortment review to maximize sales opportunities and roll-out of programs elevating the client experience. They continuously monitor market context providing sales analysis with clear communication to build up brand clear strategy forward.

 

VIE Program Requirements (must be met):

  • Ages 18 - 28
  • French or European Union citizen (cannot be a U.S. Citizen)
  • Be available to work in New York, NY for the entire 18-month program
  • Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°)
  • Available to devote yourself full time to your assignment

 

Salary: The salary for this position is € 5072.76 per month.

Location: This is in-person at our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY with an anticipated start date of March 1st .

 

Key Accountabilities:

Trade Sales Development and Sales Analysis

  • Coordinates sales forecast process with Zones, ensuring forecast is aligned with potential based on sell-out / stock coverage analysis
  • Support Zones in achieving monthly sales targets by coordinating key stakeholders (Merchandising, Logistics, Zones etc.)
  • Review the progress of monthly, quarterly, annual budget plan monthly and make the revised plan quarterly
  • Collaborate closely with Merchandising to ensure right assortment and key products focus for Trade stores
  • Support with effective data visualization and analysis for internal data (sell-in, sell-out, per zone, per account etc., AUR, key product focus etc.) and external data (market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats)

 

Retail Excellence Programs Roll-out

  • Support Team with animation of the Trade community in the Zones (monthly calls, monthly newsletters etc.). Collect best practices to share and inspire
  • Support roll-out of key initiatives elevating the client experience (hospitality, uniforms, selling tools, training tools etc.)
  • Assist in the documentation and implementation of management processes to improve business control and efficiency
  • Help with ad-hoc projects and requests, presentations to various internal and external teams

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma from higher education degree from a Business School University or equivalent
  • Fluent in English both verbally and business writing
  • 2+ years of experience in retail/ wholesale sales in luxury industry
  • Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Excel – Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficiency in reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) projects, with a strong emphasis on Power BI
