Senior Analyst - Financing Payment Options

Who you are
The Financing Payment Option team, also known as the Term Loans team, is seeking a product analyst who is eager to provide insights to the team to ensure the continued success of Klarna’s distinctive payment option. Financing Payment Option is Klarna’s renowned long-term payment plan, a method cherished by millions of Klarna customers globally.

What you will do
Working closely with the product manager, you will often collaborate with designers and engineers in the team to identify ways to enhance the product’s financial performance and functionality. Your work will be centered around consumer pricing and dunning strategies, using data to support product and feature development in these markets.
If you have a passion for product development and creating excellent customer experiences, this role is for you. We expect that you enjoy driving your own initiatives and prefer minimal time spent on reporting. This analyst position is a high-impact role where optimizations have a significant financial impact and affect millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Defining key metrics
• Following up on product releases
• Identifying profitability opportunities, and understanding how these translate into changes in product features
• Analyzing customer service errands to comprehend pain points, and more.
• Working closely with Product Managers, designers and engineers

You should have

• Product-minded: You are eager to delve into the details of how the payment method functions, particularly the post-purchase experience. You want to be at the forefront of product development, supporting discovery work with evidence.
• Financially savvy: You are business-oriented and enjoy monitoring the financial performance of the payment method in our markets.
• Customer-obsessed: You genuinely care about our customers and their experience. You will work closely with our product managers and designers to analyze UX and customer journeys to identify opportunities and improvement areas in our markets and payment methods.
• Team player: You are flexible in your working style and want to contribute to the team's success by "having a go". As analysts, we often wear many hats. This role is expected to combine product and financial analysis while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• Analytical expertise and problem-solving skills: You have a good understanding of data extraction and manipulation, can visualize complex data structures, and are experienced in using structured approaches to problem-solving. You are adept at communicating and presenting insights from data analysis to any audience. You have significant drive and ambition, with the ability to back your opinions with numbers. You pay strong attention to detail and have a curious mindset, always eager to question the why.
• SQL required.
• QlikSense and Stash preferable.
