Duties & Responsibilities
As a LPN/CMA at Lakewood Health System, you are expected to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver direct patient care following clinical practices, provider direction, and within your scope of practice.
- Accurately document care, patient interactions, medications, and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist with patient assessments, vitals, medication administration, and clinical procedures as appropriate.
- Manage patient flow, room preparation, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
- Support patient education, care instructions, and follow-up coordination.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
- Adapt to workflow changes and provide dependable, flexible support to fellow team members.
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold safety standards and organizational policies at all times.
