POSITION SUMMARY

The Steamboat Base Club is looking for persons to fill our Ski Valet positions. This position is responsible for greeting and interacting with members and guests of the Steamboat Base Club as well as moving and storing their equipment. Applicants must have previous guest service experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Warmly welcome and interact with members and guests of the Steamboat Base Club

• Maintain high standards of Service Excellence during interactions with guests and co-workders

• Valet skis and snowboards between Base Club equipment storage facility and the snow surface upon member and guest arrival.  

• Maintain an organized equipment storage room

• Respond to special requests such as tuning request, specific equipment requests.

• Be knowledgeable about events and activities on the mountain and in the base area to properly inform guests of their entertainment options. 

• Assist other employees when needed

• Ensure all equipment is always securely stored when not in guest possession.

• Resolve guest issues including those related to equipment, locker access, parking issues and pass access.  

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous guest service experience required.

• Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards
