    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Incorporate APFM Values into each customer and co-worker interaction.
    • Develop, recommend, and implement human resources plans by establishing department accountabilities, including employment processing, compensation analysis, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.
    • Manage human resources staff and operations by recruiting, training, and counseling; appraising staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining team customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
    • Lead human resources projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; evaluating milestone accomplishments.
    • Educate and advise managers on performance management and employee relations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of manager education, including creating, scheduling, and conducting training sessions on human resource related topics such as performance management, employment law, and more.
    • Administers employee benefit programs and manages annual open enrollment.
    • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications, including writing, and updating policies, procedure sand guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
    • Manage the HRIS and provide recommendations for change.
    • Act as liaison and work collaboratively with payroll, recruiting, learning and development, accounting, and legal teams.
    • Review and recommend changes to personnel policies.
    • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.  This includes compliance in each of the countries we reside.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • 3-5 years of management experience required.
    • PHR or SPHR required (or SHRM- SCP or SHRM – CP)
    • Minimum of ten years in HR with progressive experience.
    • Experience with Human Resources Management, Fostering Teamwork, Promoting Process Improvement, Building Relationships, Organizational Astuteness, People Skills, and Retaining Employees.
    • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Thorough knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to human resources.
    • Proficient verbal and written skills to communicate effectively.
    • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.

    Additional Information

    Compensation:

    • Base Salary Range - $85,000 - $95,000
    • Bonus - 20% of annual earnings
