Description

The Kentucky Horse Park is home to many events throughout the year such as Breyerfest, Land Rover Three-Day Event, Festival of the Bluegrass, Southern Lights and many others. Come join our team and experience these events first-hand.

We are currently seeking applications for a KHP Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Consultant. This position manages and supervises a major program branch in the Preventative Maintenance and Energy Management of buildings, facilities, project management, over the entire KY Horse Park and performs.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, work well with a team and be highly motivated to get the job done.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plans and assigns work of supervisors or employees in Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Branch.
• Supervises and inspects the work done to the park making sure equipment is running as efficient as possible to prevent energy waist. Assists Mechanical Maintenance when needed and provide preventative maintenance on all building equipment and systems.
• Reviews and makes recommendations in the maintenance operations procedures of the buildings, equipment, to assist in code compliance and prevent waisted energy
• Meets with Division Director or other KHP Management as it relates to the Energy Management and Preventative Maintenance operations of the buildings and equipment.

May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.
