Technical Writer

We work with North American and global mobile operators and CPaaS companies to register Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging Campaigns. We are a profitable startup with a dynamic environment. Our products are both platform and API based and address different stakeholders in the telecommunication/CPaaS industries.

We are seeking candidates in North America or the UK, this will be a fully remote position

Responsibilities

● Produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products

● Write API documentation: develop documents containing code samples, use cases, authentications, and other resources

● Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides

● Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

● Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities

● Create and maintain the information architecture

● Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements

Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

● Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation

● Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail

● Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/Open API

● Experience with markup languages such as Markdown, HTML

● Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and flows

● Excellent written skills in English

● Strong working knowledge of Atlassian suite

● Familiarity with the SDLC and software development
