PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. UX Designer 1 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Draw on data and research to inform design concepts and decision-making. Start with asking the right questions and end with optimized deliverables that drive valuable outcomes for our customers and business. Independently partner with cross-functional team members in the conceptualization, scope, and delivery of PayPal’s customer-focused products. Create digital, high-quality, visual interaction designs to improve ease of use, discoverability, and comprehension, while being able to meet requirements, and timelines, and tell the story of the work. Leverage and extend the use of established design systems, style guides, colors, patterns, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions, and deliverables. Lead project execution in a complex, strategic product domain ensuring the accuracy of customer needs during final review for quality assurance. Establish a network across domains and the cross-functional team. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $139,500-181,400 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
