CPET Program Coordinator (OPS Student Assistant)
Job Description:The UF Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (CPET) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate student to join our dynamic team as a Program Coordinator for our summer program. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in curriculum development, activity planning, and academic mentorship, while fostering a safe and supportive environment for all program participants.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assist in developing and refining curriculum.
- Plan, organize, and implement engaging activities and programs.
- Lead small group discussions and provide academic assistance.
- Offer constructive feedback on assignments and activities.
- Facilitate a welcoming environment for all summer program participants.
- Create and cultivate connections with participating faculty members.
For the Spring semester: Part-time position (up to 20 hours/week)
For the Summer semester: Full-time position (40 hours/week preferred)
Expected Salary:$18/hour
Minimum Requirements:Must be a current UF graduate student
Preferred Qualifications:Major in Natural Sciences strongly preferred
