Position: Machine Operator I (CVP, TSM, Tumbler/Mixer/Vac Cat/Contact Freezer) 

Compensation: Hourly Non-exempt 

Reports to: Production Manager

Employment Type: Full-time 

Qualifications: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required. 

 

Job Summary: Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following: machine setup & operation 

Essential Functions:  

• Set up and operate machinery as assigned by supervisor. 

• Ensure machinery is set up properly at the beginning of the shift. 

• Ensure proper maintenance is performed on machinery before and during operation. 

• Check to see if machinery is heating to the correct temperature, if applicable. 

• Ensure machinery is operated in a safe manner. 

• Keep the work area clean. 

• Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following 

Production Safety Employee relations 

• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client 

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.  

 

Experience: Entry level. 

 

Other Requirements: No other requirements necessary.  

 

Working Conditions: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
