Job Description

The opportunity:

As member of our Employee Experience and HR Operations Team, the Specialist will deliver the highest level of Operational support with a global mindset and key focus on international entities. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for our colleagues and HR and will support the payroll and operations functions.

Responsibilities:

• Support current state day to day payroll function in international countries.
• Primary subject matter expert to support payroll conversion project.
• Provide direct support to colleagues and in-country HR Operations with the highest level of priority and customer service providing guidance related to company policies and programs including technical support related to HR systems (Workday).
• Support HR Business Partners to ensure effective delivery of HR services to the business.
• Collaborate with local business leaders and payroll COE on activities related to risk and compliance.
• Participate in projects, system enhancement & upgrades including implementing process improvements and optimizations.
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures that will improve day-to-day operations in-country.

What we are looking for:

• Payroll certification preferred.
• 2-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in international countries.
• Post-secondary education in business or Human Resources or Payroll.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization & time management skills.
• Ability to influence tasks & deliverables for team members without direct reporting relationship.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (excel etc.), HRIS systems – preferably Workday and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
• Strong business acumen preferably within the financial industry 
• Compelling communication: Expresses ideas and shares information clearly and concisely, articulates messages, modifies approach, and builds connections/trust and has a high level of comfort communicating with senior level leaders.
• Influence and persuasion: Moves others to take corrective actions & influences without formal authority; ability to handle and overcome objections and resistance.
• Collaboration: Fosters productive working relationships across diverse groups to produce superior solutions; builds beneficial networks to achieve collective business goals; ability to work effectively with various stakeholders throughout HR
