About the role

<h2>DESIGN PROJECT COORDINATOR - Property Management</h2> <p>*This is not a remote position, requirement is to be local to Richmond and working a hybrid role.</p> <p>General Responsibilities:&nbsp; The Design Project Coordinator will report to the Design Project Manager.&nbsp; The Design Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the projects and work assigned to them.&nbsp; He/she will assure that their projects and work proceed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality.&nbsp; The Design Project Coordinator will work to maintain project progress and communications with the Directors, the Leasing and Maintenance Teams, Project Managers, Vendors, Suppliers, and Contractors.</p> <p>Location: Corporate Office in Glen Allen, VA (3+ days in office)</p> <p>Specific Responsibilities:&nbsp; The Design Project Coordinator shall:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with establishing the scope of work for projects consistent with Weinstein Properties and project objectives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Creating presentation and design documents. Participating in meetings on site or in the office.</li> <li>Finish materials selection, research, and documentation; up to date knowledge of materials. Must be able to generate a finish package with appropriate finishes for the design and be able specify the selected finishes.</li> <li>Creating digital presentations and physical finish boards.</li> <li>Perform project site visits to verify dimensions/conditions when needed.</li> <li>Participating in meetings on site or in the office.</li> <li>Assist with reviewing Contractor proposals for scope of work and cost reasonableness.</li> <li>Facilitate communications among the Property Manager, the Leasing Team, the Contractors, Design Project Manager and the Construction Program Director.</li> <li>Seek timely resolution of work matters.</li> <li>Be responsible for the daily administration of their projects.</li> <li>Process purchase orders, and invoices.</li> <li>Update on going task using Monday.com to ensure that task are getting completed in a timely manner.</li> <li>Will be responsible for providing close out FF + E documentation at the end of projects to the property teams.</li> <li>Travel is required for site visits, field verifications, and installations</li> </ul> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>2-4 years’ experience; or equivalent relevant education and experience.</li> <li>Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel &amp; Outlook)</li> <li>Intermediate skill level in AutoCAD or TurboCad</li> <li>Must have a valid driver’s license and a working
