Senior Business/Systems Analyst

Aperio Global is seeking a Senior Business/Systems Analyst to join their upcoming Application Modernization program in Dulles, VA. This program addresses the assessment of end-of-life applications to sunset, upgrade, or develop new applications that meet current needs. This will require the utilization of best-in-class design and design experience to develop solutions for the Airports Authority.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Business and other stakeholders and develop Business Process Map, Requirements, Capabilities, User Scenario, and Use Cases
• Develop Non-Functional-Requirements (NFR) working closely with developers, security engineers, and other team members.
• Develop Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done for Use Cases based on modern software development methodology.
• Develop Test scenario, Test cases, Test scripts, Test report and other as appropriate for Use Case validation and Scenario validation and signoff.
• Conduct and orchestrate working sessions to develop Business requirements, capabilities, Persona Map, Business Processes, and Business Rules, etc.
• Work closely with Business and Users community to get their buy-in and sign off on Business Processes, Requirements, Capabilities, User Scenario, etc.
• Work closely with Software Development team to answer questions on feature specifications, sprint planning, execution, and closure.
• Create and maintain feature backlog and continue to develop detailed User Stories in advance of Sprint planning.
• Develop supporting documents, presentations, and artifacts to support feature prioritization and value justification.
• Develop User Acceptance Plan and execute with the help of project and business teams.
• Develop Software rollout plan, User onboarding plan, and user Training plan and facilitate those with the help of project team.
• Be a team player and collaborate with diverse teams and background personalities.
• Communicate verbal and written effectively to convey technical concepts.
• Timely update tasks, identifying dependencies, estimates efforts, and foresee technical and implementation issues, risks, challenges ahead of time and follow action plans as appropriate.
• Prepare presentations, technical documents, and related artifacts to effectively convey concepts and ideas to team leads and broader stakeholders

Technology - HTML5, Adobe illustrator, AWS/Azure, Microsoft Office Suits

Process - Software Product Management Processes, DevOps, Agile, SDLC, Database Concepts, Cloud Concepts

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Product Owner for Cloud Web Application.
• Bachelor's degree in business, or Process Engineering, or Information Technology or related field of study

Preferred Qualification

Training and/or Certification on UI/UX Tools (Adobe) and Concepts (like Design Thinking); (2) Exposure to modern software development concepts (like CI/CD) and implementation experience (3) Experience in writing SQL script.

Preferred Tools - Jira or Azure DevOps Tool or Similar; Wireframe tool (Adobe, or other), Power Point
