Position Overview

This is an on-site position in San Antonio, TX.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Management: Execute all filing, accounting, and bookkeeping tasks as directed by the pharmacist-in-charge, ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy's administrative backbone.
• Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the pharmacist-in-charge, discussing the progress and policies of the pharmacy department to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Patient Confidentiality: Rigorously adhere to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient confidentiality and the security of Protected Health Information (PHI) to maintain trust and integrity in patient care.
• Environmental Stewardship: Implement and adhere to daily housekeeping, cleanliness, and sanitation protocols as per Company guidelines, contributing to a safe and welcoming pharmacy environment.
• Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism in dress, personal appearance, and grooming, reflecting Company standards and promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborative Consultation: Engage in regular consultations with the pharmacist-in-charge and other pharmacists to streamline the processing of prescriptions, enhancing efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• A GED or high school diploma
• Successful completion of a PTCB-recognized course
• Possession of an active State technician or technician trainee license

Desired Skills

• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
