SUMMARY

Eagle Eye Electric, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a local and qualified General Construction Superintendent IDIQ Task Order type contract The Superintendent is directly responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the project and will be onsite for the duration of the projects.  This includes implementation of the project plans as well as project oversight and coordination with the project team.  This position requires a close working relationship with the Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer, Foreman, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager (QM), as well as other project team members.  The Site Superintendent must have at least 3 years of applicable experience on projects involving civil construction, railroad, utilities, infrastructure, etc.  The Site Superintendent is required to possess the ability to prepare written technical reports, covering all aspects of construction activities; ability to track site costs on a daily basis; ability to manage and ensure proper execution of multiple simultaneous subcontracts and/or vendors of varying types and complexity; ability to track site costs routinely; demonstrated ability to mediate with tact when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter the fundamental job duties of the position. ADA Required
  • On-site implementation and coordination of the project plans per the SOW
  • Schedule and execute all phases of construction
  • Estimating experience including RSMeans
  • Attendance at regular internal and external tailgates meetings including daily discussions on project health and safety
  • Preparation of daily reports with Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer and QCM
  • Review and processing of project submittals
  • Active role in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with all on site staff
  • Coordination with on-site subs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)

  • Enter qualifications required to perform the job. Must include education and level of experience.
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience with RSMeans pricing
  • A minimum of 3 years in Construction with a preference for Federal/DOD work
  • OSHA 30 Training

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Enter minimum KSAO’s required to do the job.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft® Office programs
  • Construction management experience

Preferred

  • Federal government or DOD experience in construction
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Federal government or DOD experience in construction
