We’re a place where aspiring, adaptable quick-thinkers thrive, and we’re set to become the next leading spend management platform in the European FinTech industry.</strong></p><p>Our Finance team is currently looking for a <strong>Senior FP&A Manager </strong>(f/m/d). In this role, you will directly support senior management and other functional leaders across the company in aligning strategic and operational decision-making with our overall financial objectives. Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you’ll be part of an agile team supporting the overall company’s growth, with exposure to high-impact topics at the intersection of B2B SaaS and payments.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p><p>Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Business partnering - </strong>Partner up closely with functional leaders across the company to understand business drivers, and collaborate on high impact initiatives. </p></li><li><p><strong>Financial planning - </strong>Develop and maintain financial models to support target setting, budgeting, long-term strategic planning, as well as rolling forecasting, and coordinate planning processes closely with key stakeholders across the business.</p></li><li><p><strong>Financial analysis - </strong>Perform financial analysis and run scenarios to facilitate decision making on an ad-hoc basis. Keep a close eye on our unit economics and key capital efficiency metrics across multiple dimensions to identify risks and opportunities, and take action where necessary.</p></li><li><p><strong>Financial reporting -</strong> Provide meaningful insights and presentations on our financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to senior management, functional leaders, and external stakeholders. </p></li><li><p><strong>Process & reporting improvements - </strong>Proactively share ideas and take action to improve and automate existing reporting and planning processes where possible.<strong> </strong>Challenge the status quo of our financial reporting framework based on in-depth financial benchmarking and drive change where necessary.</p></li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>We think you’ll need the following <strong>experience and qualifications</strong> to succeed in this role: </p><ul><li><p>Proven track record of developing and executing strategic financial plans that deliver impact in a high-growth environment. </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of relevant financial accounting and reporting concepts, and a very strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. </p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills in German (preferred) and English</p></li></ul><p>In addition, here are the <strong>skills and attributes</strong> we are looking for:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Business acumen:</strong> You have a deep understanding of competitive landscape, market trends, and business levers and dynamics in a B2B SaaS and high-growth context. This allows you to closely partner with commercial and product departments on strategic decisions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Solution-oriented mindset: </strong>You thrive in ambiguous situations and feel comfortable tackling problems for which no best practice or predefined path exists yet. You’re pragmatic and proactive in seeking and defining solutions that will have the highest impact.</p></li><li><p><strong>Highly analytical:</strong> You have meticulous attention to detail, and enjoy dissecting data sets to understand the true root cause of a problem. You leverage your analytical skills to derive actionable insights that support strategic decision making.</p></li><li><p><strong>Compelling storyteller: </strong>You are capable of translating complex financial information into engaging narratives that drive strategic decision-making and that resonate with external and internal (non-financial) audiences. </p></li><li><p><strong>Collaborative communicator: </strong>You enjoy building trustworthy cross-functional partnerships and connections that are clearly aligned towards a shared goal.
