What you get to do in this role:
Join team of security engineers to build and scale a common control framework
Convert compliance requirements into datasets and enable metrics driven security compliance monitoring
You will interact with security, infrastructure, and platform teams to scale our common control framework in how we implement application security, pen testing, incident response, security compliance and drive customer adoption through trust in our security and compliance posture
Secure our platform while simultaneously lowering the SME fatigue placed on developer teams to achieve and maintain security improvements
Become an expert in the Now Platform
Learn tools and programming languages for Data Analytics
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
6+ years of progressive experience within a security/privacy team or cloud service provider
Experience drafting and implementing security control narratives for Data Security & Privacy, as well as familiarity with ServiceNow IRM product
Experience performing privacy risk evaluations to ensure privacy compliance with various privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA
Experience with security and compliance requirements for securing cloud environments, including but not limited to, NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI, ISMAP, MTCS, and C5
Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders across business teams, engineering teams, compliance teams, and legal teams to build out regulatory compliance and engineering requirements for regulated and non-regulated markets
Working knowledge of best practices in application security, infrastructure security, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions
Technical knowledge in two or more security domains, such as auditing & logging, identity & access management, system and network security, authentication or security protocols, etc.
Strong information security risk-based prioritization abilities
