What you will do
You will be responsible for all operations for the Johnson Controls (JCI) Lubbock distribution center supporting the Fire Suppression Products (FSP/ Water Mechanical product business units. You will promote a performance-based culture, passionate about providing our customers with an outstanding experience. You will also partner with peers in Manufacturing, Inventory Control and Quality to build solutions and processes that yield perfect shipments, stable inventory levels, and optimal efficiency.
How you will do it
Management
Strong Safety Leadership
Champion a zero-incident safety culture; proactively identify hazards and lead corrective action initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA, regulatory, and company safety standards across distribution and logistics functions.
Conduct routine safety audits, training, and risk assessments for all warehouse operations.
Provide overall leadership of the distribution center (DC)
Assist in the development and support of regional distribution strategies to achieve high service levels and efficient inventory placement.
Directly impact business profitability and customer experience.
Operational responsibility for end results, planning and finances/budget.
Set policies and business strategy for the DC operation.
