POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Project Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy in billing, and supporting project managers with financial analysis and reporting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services related to billing.
- Prepare final invoice packages containing draft and final invoices for all billable items.
- Research any unbilled issues to optimize the billing possibilities for the billing period.
- Set up new projects.
- Prepare project analyses for the Project Managers and other stakeholders.
- Communicate and coordinate with Project Managers and Finance on all accounting-related project issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
- College Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- 5+ years experience in Project Management, Project Finance, Construction Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience with MRP Systems.
- Project Finance experience in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
