Position Summary
The Manager, Business Intelligence serves as the leader responsible for strategic development and implementation of applications and technology-based solutions that streamline, standardize, measure, and enhance the effectiveness of key business processes. Leads the development of key business metrics (Customer and Operational Effectiveness Metrics) through an in-depth understanding and liaison with cross-functional managers/members of the organization.
What you will do
- Strategically identify business process improvement opportunities on a systemic level, including cross-functional involvement.
- Champion a culture of innovation and operational excellence with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Evaluate existing business processes, identify systemic opportunities, develop technology-based solutions
- Define actionable items for roadmap and execution in order of priority and potential positive impact to the business while considering available resources, Customer requirements, and other business factors.
- Develop and implement methods to monitor and measure effectiveness of implementations; lead corrective actions as applicable.
- Develop KPIs and data visualizations to manage objective outcomes for the organization.
- Develop and pilot exploratory reporting to monitor / measure impact of various tactical and strategic initiatives.
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelor degree
- 3+ years Advanced Excel, Tableau/Power BI, & Power Platform expertise
- 1+ years’ experience in Change Management, including successfully implementing significant business process changes.
- Experience developing PowerApps or equivalent applications.
- Experience with Power Automate or other automated processes.
- Query and data configuration experience
- Experience in developing business process metrics.
- Experience in defining database requirements.
- Project management experience, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to achieve desired outcomes within specified timelines and resources.
- Demonstrated positive impact to the business that translated to clear, bottom-line results by implementing step-function changes.
- Lean and continuous improvement experience; Lean certification preferred.
- Broad experience with operations processes including production planning, supply change & logistics, engineering, quality inspection.
- Experience with a regulated medical device manufacturing
