Scope of Position

• The Service Extension Field Representative will be responsible for the management of running a successful kettle fundraising season with volunteers running the Service Units in Southern Idaho, Easter and NW Oregon.
• This Seasonal Job is a Remote Job.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Licenses and Certifications.

Specific Requirements.

• Run a successful kettle campaign at the Southern Idaho, Easter and NW Oregon Units (A list will be provided).

Knowledge required.

• Use a computer effectively in the working environment; use standard office machines (e.g., copier, multi-line telephone, labeler, laminating machine).
• Keyboarding experience, proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, Canva, and PowerPoint.
• Use traditional office practices and procedures; read, write, and speak the English language to express ideas and communicate professionally and effectively.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Skill required.

• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills to interface effectively with individuals and groups whether inside or outside of the Salvation Army system.
• Highly organized and a team player.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint) software to manage multiple calendars correctly, manage and create documents, reports, and presentations.
• Have knowledge of HP software and computer operations; use virtual meeting platforms; use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Establish effective working relationships; attention to detail; and operate a motor vehicle.

• Use interpersonal skills to deal effectively with others in favorable and unfavorable situations.
