Description
The Retail Merchandise Coordinator reports to the Gift Shop Manager/Buyer and will participate in all aspects of the gift shop operations, including store operations, human resource management (hiring/training/scheduling), customer service and sales, visual merchandising and product placement, inventory management (purchasing, ordering transferring), purchase order management and expediting, and expense management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The RMC will have administrative responsibilities as well as store responsibilities, as needed.
- Participate in product placement and store sale, events and maintains communication vehicles such as displays, signs brochures etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma preferred. Associate Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years' of prior retail store experience, including, but not limited to selling, merchandising, receiving, store opening/closing, customer service, buying, payroll, interviewing, training.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
