The Mobile Simulation Lab Driver is responsible for the safe operation, transport, and basic maintenance of the mobile simulation lab used for training and recruitment events. This position involves driving the vehicle to scheduled locations, assisting with setup and breakdown of the unit, and ensuring the unit and truck are clean, operational, and ready for use. The driver works closely with clinical educators, simulation staff, and the Talent Acquisition Department to support scheduled events at hospitals, clinics, educational and/or recruitment sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism, with the ability to travel and represent the organization positively in the community.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience
=> 1 year experience driving commercial vehicles. Required
Licenses and Certifications
CDL - Group A - Commercial Driver’s License, valid GA license. Required
Essential Functions
Safely drive the mobile simulation lab to scheduled locations.
Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure vehicle is in good working condition, including, monitoring fuel levels.
Understand and follow all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, accidents or issues encountered during travel or at events.
Assist in set-up and take-down activities at events.
Additional Duties
Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
Maintains current Knowledge in present areas of responsibility to include any specialty certification requirements (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs).
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
