We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants to build the next generation of AI driven Developer experience at PayPal. You will also help develop product strategy for developer support leveraging industry standard AI platforms. With an incredible power of self-service tools, our ambition is to optimize a developer’s integration journey across Enterprise, Partners, and especially the Small Business segments.

The Developer Ecosystem team is part of the SMB & Financial Services organization, and responsible for PayPal’s end-to-end and self-service developer experiences. PayPal is committed to delivering the best experience for our global developers. Our team designs experiences and products, critical for our developers to integrate, upgrade and go-live with PayPal’s Complete Payment solution.

Your way to impact

You will work closely with user research and user experience teams to identify a developer’s pain point. In partnership with engineering, you will build the strategy and roadmap, define product requirements for developer products, with the goal of each new release making a measurable impact on the business prioritize developer’s testing to go-live experiences. You will also be an organic developer evangelist and advocate – and bring the voice of developers to enhance future roadmaps and product strategy.

Your day to day

In this role you will,

• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for future investments in AI led developer products

• Interact with developers and translate their needs into product requirements

• Define key product indicators and success metrics for developer products 

• Partner closely with User Experience team to build robust experiences

• Partner closely with User Research team to help define and test hypotheses to uncover the developer journey and pain points

• Manage stakeholders through communication strategies

• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Platform Engineering, User Experience, User Research teams to define and ship developer products

• Partner with the engineering team to ship functionality that delights users, has the right balance of impact vs engineering cost, and makes a measurable impact on the business

• Validate experiences and product prototypes with early adopters 

• Work closely with developer relations & product marketing to launch new features and drive product awareness and adoption

What do you need to bring

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical field

• Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience

• Empathy for developers and care about challenges a developer may face during their journey to build the right product strategy.

• Experience delivering low code solutions with self service capabilities for developers

• Knowledge of the tools and processes development teams use to develop, build, and, test integrations

• Strength mapping a developer’s journey, translate challenges into a roadmap, and execute with precision and transparency

• Understanding of how SDKs, APIs are used to integrate products in sandbox and production environments

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• A team player mindset and experience mentoring fellow product managers in their development journey
