Job Title: Director – eMonitoring Governance

Job Description / Summary:

As a member of the Social Media and eCommunications Enterprise Compliance team, you will establish and lead a governance program related to monitoring associate electronic communications.  This role will also partner with CTG, Business Unit Compliance, and other policy stakeholders to ensure eMonitoring scenarios and policies are effective and meet regulatory requirements. You will also support the relationship and activities with the technology vendor that supports the eMonitoring Program.   

The Expertise You Have:

  • 7+ years of compliance, risk, technology, audit, vendor management experience or comparable experience.

  • Experience with analyzing regulatory requirements and establishing policies and procedures designed to meet them. 

  • Experience assessing program and policy effectiveness, including performing audits and/or quality control reviews.

  • Leadership of cross company regulatory or technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery on time and within budget.

  • Experience working across various levels of leadership, including delivering executive presentations.

The Value You Deliver

  • Develop, communicate, and influence the adoption of compliance standards for eMonitoring policy owners and key stakeholders.

  • Analyze and respond to regulatory requirements, Audit and Risk recommendations, and assist with influencing the remediation of related technology compliance incidents.

  • Provide support to regulatory response and legal matters pertaining to eMonitoring in support of supervisory processes.   

  • Establish schedule and perform periodic 'self-audits' of eMonitoring scenarios and review with business partner owners to confirm scenario effectiveness and recommend any enhancements. 

  • Build and lead governance program meetings and build awareness of policy / scenario ownership responsibilities and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to work horizontally across Digital Compliance, partnering with other practice owners to unify processes and consolidate touchpoints with shared business partners.

  • Partner with business owners, Compliance Technology, and CTG to implement enhancements to scenarios and eMonitoring processes. 

The Team:

The Social Media and eCommunications Compliance team provides guidance and support on Fidelity’s Electronic Communications and Social Media policies and related regulations, assists with onboarding and ensuring retention of eCommunications tools and channels, provides support to enterprise-wide social media initiatives, and supports eMonitoring activities.

This person is also part of the broader Digital Compliance team focused on ensuring digital regulatory readiness across a broad set of practices including Privacy, Records Management, Social Media and eCommunications Compliance, Technology Resiliency & Data Management.
