Where You'll Work

Our Sturtevant, WI location creates dry seasoning blends for a variety of meat and snack products to spice up the life of Kerry customers. In fact, our site houses ALL of the spices and seasonings used in Kerry products for North America and beyond!! We’re proud to give back to the community we work in by participating in community fundraisers and volunteering with the local food bank. We are located a commutable 20 minutes from the Milwaukee metro area, and on a bus line for your convenience. If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can make a difference with, we might be the place for you!

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $23.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 

2nd shift must be able to work 1 pm to 9 pm $1.50 shift differential

Do you enjoy your days being full of variety? As a Blending Operator you’ll see a product’s transformation from individual ingredients to finished product. You’ll follow instructions provided on a recipe card or “batch ticket” listing which ingredients you’ll gather and the amount needed. If you’re active, this is the role for you! You’ll use your hustle for transporting bags of savory ingredients such as onions, peppers, and other powder season mixes to other team members. From there, the fine particle ingredients are blended to complete the product; then bagged and hand palletized. When mixed together, these tasty flavors create dust and strong smells (not to worry, we provide protective face masks to help offset the effects). If you’re like us you’ll feel a deep sense of pride when you see friends and family enjoying products you helped produce!

You’ll be a key part of a high performing team that keeps production lines running efficiently while working together to ensure we all have a safe workplace. We’ll count on you to help us meet our customer and consumer needs as you:
 

• Measure, weigh and document ingredients
• Move and transfer ingredients by hand, cart, or forklift (don’t worry, we’ll train you if not certified) 
• Document temperature and machine readings with accuracy - your detail will be key here

What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe

• Because you’ll be working with ingredients to specific standards, you’ll have either a high school diploma or equivalent or previous work experience with measuring and documenting with detail. 
• Thinking of joining a gym? No need! This role will require lifting 4 to 5 50lbs bags of ingredients per minute by hand.
