Essential Job Functions

• Leads Cloud Engineering operational practice (primarily AWS), directly and indirectly manages global multidisciplinary teams for multiple projects, customers, and engagements.
• Prepares, recommends, and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets and associated customer pricing models.  Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans and manages variances.  Performs budget analysis.
• Selects and hires team members.  Coaches and develops team members to enhance their performance and work product.
• Oversees cloud transformation projects of internal and customer datacenters to public cloud.  Develops and maintains communications with the customer, management, and staff to ensure that service is delivered on time and within budget or contractual obligations.
• Leads other technology hosting business and technical initiatives as needed.
• Develops, negotiates, and manages vendor relationships and contracting.

Basic Qualifications​

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of information technology or computer operations experience
• 5+ years with Public Cloud Administration (AWS Preferred)
• 8+ years with Systems Administration and Storage (Windows, Linux, SANs, NAS)
• 5+ years with Networking and Directories (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, LDAP)
• 5+ years with Databases (SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSql)
• 5+ years with Monitoring tools
• 5+ years of software development, SDLC, and DevOps experience

• Certifications Preferred (Azure, AWS, CISSP, and/or PMP).

• Up to 10% travel requirements

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $131,300 - $243,800.
