North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a full-time CNC Machinist (Plasma) to join our team in Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be to:
- Setting up and operating the CNC machine, adjusting machine settings to maintain tolerances
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and design models
- Performs minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
- Observing machine operation for accuracy and detecting malfunctions
- Structural layout using squares, center heads, tape measure, and other measuring devices
- Inputting design specifications into the CNC machine
- Operate hand torch, hand plasma, track burner, overhead crane and jib hoist
- * Inspecting workpieces for defects and measuring accuracy using rulers or templates.

- 2+ years of related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience reading and interpreting documents such as fabrication drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing
