Summary/ Objective

Production team members aid in the manufacturing of goods in a progressive line. Production workers' roles vary depending on which section they work in but could include anything from feeding materials into machinery, printing, or providing quality control. Team members must be detail oriented and have a better than average coordination to operate equipment. They must have good judgment to perform complicated tasks and must be able to work closely with other team members without constant supervision. Skilled production team members are constantly alert and observant of their surroundings. 

Essential Functions

• Operate equipment on various sizes and weights used in the production of clothing and apparel.
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring issues to the attention of their Area Manager.
• Follow daily procedures and protocols set forth in job orientation and in training received by the team member.   
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
• Prepare screens for printing.
• Troubleshooting artwork issues of flaws.  
• Sorting/packaging completed orders.  
• Meet production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Requirements

Education and Experience 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Veteran Preferred

Work Environment

 
Fast paced, high pressure. Must be willing to have a flexible schedule if needed by management or if the project calls for a different schedule.

Physical Demands

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for long periods of time. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and going up and down ladders.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are 2nd shift Monday through Friday 3pm to 11pm.  Occasional overtime and weekend work may be optional or required as job duties and workload demand. 

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
