You lead the Italian business development of TEC.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively promote The Exploration Company towards the Italian public bodies (Nationally and Locally) 
• Develop the Italian business with the support of all the business teams, 
• Identify new bids from various public bodies such as space agencies, governments, local organizations, etc.
• Manage and deliver the bids in Italian language. Negotiate the contractualization of the bid in case we win.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian Space Industry to avoid conflicts. Identify and propose the Italian partners for European bids or for cooperative projects.
• Represent the company in public events and manage relationships with public clients by attending workshops, conferences, and meetings.
• Be the Point of Contact for site events and ensure a good cohesion between the local team members.

• Excellent communication skills and empathy
• Ability to take initiatives and to innovate
• Comfortable working under pressure and possess excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills in Italian and also in English.
• Good understanding of how a bid process works in Italy and some experience in the aerospace industry.
• Must be able to structure and create in-confidence relationships with Public authorities, Italian customers and partners.
• Able to work collaboratively with all type of teams (technical, financial, business, operations teams) to deliver all work.
• Should be a self-starter and a problem solver, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• We value experience and aptitude over formal qualifications.
• Passionate about the aerospace industry and excited to create and make grow the Italian Subsidiary for the success of the whole Company.
