Experienced Automotive Parts Counter Associate

Bill Dodge Auto Group is Maine's largest family-owned automotive group, proudly serving our communities for over 50 years. We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter Associate to join our growing Parts Department.

Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Assist internal and external customers with parts requests
• Research, source, and order parts as needed
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, special orders, and inventory transactions
• Process parts returns and warranty-related documentation
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory
• Prepare parts for shipment, delivery, or customer pickup
• Assist with inventory control and stock order management
• Ensure all parts transactions are accurately billed and documented
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive parts department experience required
• Experience using CDK and Microsoft Office preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
