Bevertainer- Nightlife- El Jefe (Reno)

POSITION SUMMARY: 

It is the Primary responsibility of the BEVERAGETAINER to participate in exciting entertainment via choreographed dance and or singing routines, provides friendly, courteous and accurate beverage preparation in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Continually promotes a positive attitude at all times. Also responsible for serving food items in specialty area and during special events and occasions.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Circus Circus Reno policies, practices and procedures. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

1. Must present a professional, glamorous and exciting appearance.
2. Must be able to dance and or sing to choreographed routines such as jazz, ballet, hip hop etc.
3. Must entertain and serve guests in a convivial (Friendly), gracious and courteous manner.
4. Must maintain a continually, upbeat, alluring and high energy demeanor when interacting with guests.
5. Present and open bottles of wine and champagne
6. Garnish cocktails following heath department standards
7. Work is performed in an area which may unusually hot or cold, smoky and dimly lit. Work may be performed in small areas and may entail use of chemicals and/or hazardous materials. 
8. Proper cash handling and control procedures according to departmental specific procedures. Record on register all beverage sales as instructed. 
9. Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages
10. Knowledge of sanitation standards
11. Complete and monitor bar set up, clean up and preparation for the on coming shift and/or bar closure. 
12. Keep the bar clean and sanitary at all times. 
13. Remain informed on company special events and the hours of operation of food and beverage guests. 
14. Direct activities of bar porter assigned the bar
15. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 

Required: 

1. Previous entertainment experience as a performer is expected 
2. Dancing and or Modeling experience expected
3. Must possess excellent customer service skills
4. Must maintain the look and appearance for which originally casted
5. Must wear proper attire in a neat groomed fashion according to standards
6. Must re-audition for the position every year or as often as the Company determines necessary
7. Must be able to balance a tray of drinks and distribute without spilling
8. Through knowledge of liquors, cocktails, beers, wines, bottle service and garnishes expected
9. Ability to multi-task
10. Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
11. Must answer the telephone in a professional courteous manner.
12. Must be motivated, enthusiastic, organized and self-directed. 
13. Strong attention to detail
14. Must be a team player
15. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
