Warehouse Assistant

We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant who can work both on the floor and behind the scenes. This role supports daily warehouse operations, with a focus on receiving, inventory control, and data analysis. You’ll help ensure products are received and stored accurately, while also using data tools to monitor inventory trends and improve workflow efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving incoming shipments, checking for accuracy, and documenting discrepancies.
• Organize and store materials in the appropriate areas according to inventory procedures.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and help investigate stock discrepancies.
• Support order picking, packing, and staging as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Track and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Monitor stock levels and generate reports to identify trends, slow-moving items, or potential shortages.
• Use Excel or other data tools to analyze receiving, shipping, and inventory performance.
• Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to improve data accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

Professional Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory environment.
• Comfortable working with both physical inventory and data tracking tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with WMS or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of data analysis (e.g., sorting, filtering, pivot tables).
• Experience with barcode scanners and digital inventory systems.
