Cornelis Networks is hiring a talented Manufacturing Technician who would be responsible for supporting the technical functions within Manufacturing Operations.  Supporting activities include but are not limited to, failure analysis on systems and assemblies, NPI process development as it relates to assembly and functional test, hands-on support for Engineering prototype needs, rework and repair of assemblies, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides functional test and failure analysis on the Production and customer RMA assemblies.
  • Provides NPI support to Engineering - performs pre-production testing, rework & component level repairs.
  • Assists in test fixture development and assembly to support Manufacturing requirements.
  • Performs product repairs and ECO updates as required.
  • Supports the internal test network within the Manufacturing environment.
  • Evaluate test processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Performs initial testing and troubleshooting as a regular member of the group.
  • Provides support on engineering modifications.
  • Conducts testing and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work.
  • Receives general instructions and guidance on most work from the Sr. Manufacturing Technician. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Failure Analysis experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Electronic Tech School Graduate or Electrical Engineering course equivalent.
  • 4+ year's bench and system level testing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills when working with SMT and BGA components types.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to interpret schematics, logic diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Must be knowledgeable of electronic quality standards.
  • Communicates with Test and Hardware Engineering on potential problems / deficiencies.
  • Excellent PCBA soldering skills.
  • Experience in performing bench and system testing on products. 
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Location: This role is based on-site at the Chesterbrook Corporate Center located in Wayne, PA. The ideal candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
