The Senior Innovation & Technical Program Manager is a key member of the NTT Front-End Planning & Strategy team and a significant contributor to the Critical Facilities Engineering and Design team. This person works closely with the VP of Front-End Planning & Strategy to lead cross functional resources to identify, evaluate, and implement systemic improvements in standard and purpose-built facilities, manage launch functions across multiple regions to enable new campuses and build to suit programs all whilst collaborating with internal discipline leaders and cross-functional teams.This position is responsible for leading and overseeing strategic planning for design development within various gates of the launch program including due diligence, master planning, feasibility studies, business case development, transitioning to support to produce preliminary construction documents & utility requirements. This effort involves defining and leading coordination between NTT GDC global and Americas regional teams, experts and outside consultants, suppliers.
The Senior Innovation & Technical Program Manager will execute the systemic, program, equipment and functional improvements identified. Duties will include defining team goals and timelines for development of supporting documentation needed for corporate decision making, financial evaluations, change management and progress/results reports related to the delivery of the work.
This position requires a broadly experienced leader, with a creative approach to problem solving- willing to explore alternatives for customer-focused innovations and options. While evaluating Data Center industry trends, competitor action plans, Vendor and marketplace innovations and Target Customer future requirements, this leader will apply detail-oriented problem solving with excellent communication skills to produce high quality options while carefully considering cost, feasibility & constructability factors. This position requires good judgment to meet project objectives, with the ability to collaborate and manage the accountabilities of a diverse interdisciplinary team focused on creating the best campus Data Center environments in our industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and existing Customer Satisfaction Managers to collect and organize data on current and future customer expectations for Compute Density, Reliability/Redundancy, and target value to support development of purpose-built facilities.
Lead and coordinate with internal design and Engineering teams to prepare plans of record for scaling and growing infrastructure based on new technologies and market needs.
Prepare and present business cases and feasibility studies.
Support in the updating of Owner’s Project Requirements, design standards, and system specifications.
Working with external customers to identify requirements and prospective partnerships to enable new infrastructure launches.
Identifying priority locations to re-architect existing infrastructure approaches
Review appropriateness of design approaches based on locality specifics, convention, local experience, climate, workforce, and existing standards.
Ensure alignment between customer requirements, Sales& Marketing expectations, Owner’s Product Requirements (OPR) and Master planning.
Represent NTT at industry organizations to reflect commitment to innovation, flexibility/agility, customer satisfaction- highlighting operational reliability and safety.
Other duties as assigned within the group that can include Site Due Diligence and Utility Management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Deep knowledge of development and construction scheduling to build programmatic frameworks to inform “what if” scenario planning.
Ability to communicate with key customers to understand and interpret design and construction drawings/specifications, project schedules, detailed budgets and estimate summaries.
In-depth knowledge of all aspects of data center design or equivalent industrial facilities with an emphasis on Mechanical and Electrical systems
Design and engineering with Mechanical Systems design, specification selection and supply chain.
Comprehensive experience with large building electrical systems including DR and BR topologies.
Excellent coordination and project management, verbal, and written communications skills.
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to present ideas effectively and evaluate the ideas of others in project meetings.
