Senior Analyst, Investment Accounting Operations
Global Atlantic is seeking a candidate to launch its new Investment Accounting Operations team. Though officially part of the Investment Operations team, the position will be responsible for performing a hybrid of Investment Accounting and Investment Operations activities. The candidate will help ensure alignment of data between our Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) systems. Additionally, the candidate will be a key resource for the greater Investment Operations team regarding best practices of booking/entering transaction activity.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily cash suspense process; help identify and report open items; assist with clearing large and aged items; assist with Open Payables/Receivables reconciliation
- Own Investment Operations’ relationship with internal/external auditors. Track open items and work across teams to provide support
- Help design SOX workflows from an Investment Operations perspective
- Own coordination and data management of portfolio setups in IBOR and ABOR
- Reconcile balances of cash and bonds posted for collateral for derivatives or borrowings
- Own registration of Private Placement Numbers with the CUSIP Service
- Report positions and trade activity to KKR
- Support reconciliation of SMF data between IBOR and ABOR
- Collaborate with Investment Accounting and other stakeholders to identify and resolve miscellaneous data feed or reporting issues
Qualifications:
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related major
- Minimum 2+ years relevant professional experience in Investment Accounting or Investment Operations
- Knowledge of alternative investments and private debt, specifically CLOs and leveraged loans is a plus
- Experience with Clearwater Analytics preferred, working knowledge of Wall Street Office, Tableau or SQL experience is a plus

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. The annual base salary range provided in this posting for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $54,483 to $103,778.
