About the role

Work Location – Illinois (approximately 2.5 hours’ drive from Chicago O’Hare International Airport)
Travel Expectations-
Frequency (Design Phase): Onsite every alternate week
Schedule: Monday through Thursday onsite; return on late Thursday or Friday morning, based on flight availability
Post-Design Phase: Frequency may taper down to once a month, but may fluctuate between 1–2 weeks per month depending on project milestones
Relocation is not a requirement from the project side.
Also, as the role involves onsite-offshore collaboration, flexibility for early morning or late evening meetings will be necessary.

Requirements

SAP BTP Integration Suite Expertise:
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and its tools, including API Management and Open Connectors.
Integration Patterns & Protocols:
Strong understanding of integration patterns (e.g., Content-based routing, Scatter-Gather) and protocols like REST, SOAP, and OData.
Data Mapping: Proficiency in data mapping and transformation using tools and Groovy scripts.
Web Service Technologies: Practical experience with web service technologies.
Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Experience working with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
System Understanding: Knowledge of various SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors) and non-SAP systems and cloud platforms.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
