Building and Facilities Technician - Sisson/Lombard

Building and Facilities TechnicianTransdev in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Building and Facilities Technician to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for the troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation of building systems, utility systems, site work, and furnishings at bus maintenance and operations facilities.The schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am  Transdev is proud to offer: Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1764 Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:   

• $25.07 - $26.60 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) 
• Starting pay $25.07 with progression to $26.60 over 2 years.

• HVAC chiller units, rooftop units, etc.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoot, installs, and repairs electrical and lighting equipment and components.
• Maintains a very stringent Preventive Maintenance program required by the client.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repairs various building and structural systems and site work
• Tests and inspects facilities equipment and performs preventive maintenance as required                                                                                                                                

Qualifications:

• Facility maintenance-related certifications, education, and training preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a facilities maintenance worker position
• Possesses a broad base of knowledge, skill, and ability in various maintenance and repair disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical) Welding and fabrication skills preferred, but not required
• Ability to safely operate a variety of motor vehicles
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, and other motorized equipment
• Ability to operate power and hand tools commonly used in maintenance and construction
• Subject to drug testing.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. 
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
